  • I Will Find Youfinished
I’m visiting home right now, and my mom and I wanted something to watch together over lunch after she gets back from work. She wanted a thriller, so we started this series. It keeps you watching and is interesting at times, but it gets frustrating when a lot of the plotlines with tons of buildup end up not amounting to much. Many events also feel very predictable for a show with “twists and turns”. It seems as though a lot of these twists were put in purely for shock value and don’t actually make much sense given the characters’ previous actions.

  • Avatar: The Last Airbender (Live Action) — finished
I am a HUGE fan of the original animated series and have watched it end to end multiple times, so I naturally had mixed opinions when the news of the live action series dropped, given that other animated works I enjoyed have had really subpar (in my opinion) live action adaptations (such as Lilo & Stitch, Cowboy Bebop, and The Lion King). But I was pleasantly surprised when the Avatar live action dropped, since I actually really liked it. The first season had a good plot but the acting was a little bit unpolished. However, the recently released second season was really good!
